Vitamin B12 10 ug capsules
Vitamin B12 is one of the best-known vitamins among the eight B vitamins. These are water-soluble and cannot be stored by the body. We are therefore dependent on obtaining them from food or supplements.
Vitamin B12 is also known as cobalamin. Many people have a deficiency of this vitamin. This can be due to a variety of causes. However, deficiencies mainly occur when little or no animal products are consumed.
Why choose VitaminFit's B12 10 ug?
VitaminFit's vitamin B12 capsules offer a unique combination of two biologically active forms of B12: methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin. These forms of vitamin B12 do not need to be converted by the stomach and intestines.
The combination of plants in a supplement such as B12 with a phyto matrix of ginger root, holy basil and rosemary revolves around synergistic effects: the plant extracts reinforce each other's effects and support the absorption or action of vitamin B12 in the body.
The capsules are free from artificial additives, fillers and animal ingredients. They are natural and plant-based, making them suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Who can benefit from vitamin B12?
People who do not eat animal products may develop a vitamin B12 deficiency. Vegetarians and vegans are therefore advised to take a B12 supplement.
But a B12 supplement can also be important for older people. As we age, vitamin B12 is less easily absorbed by the body and a deficiency can develop. Some commonly prescribed medications, such as antacids, also limit the absorption of vitamin B12.
VitaminFit's Vitamin B12 is available in various strengths, in capsule and drop form. Depending on your diet, medication use or if you already have a deficiency, higher doses may be necessary.
Vitamin B12 Complex 10ug is a dietary supplement for maintaining and replenishing vitamin B12 reserves in the body when there are no deficiencies. In case of deficiencies, a higher dosage is recommended. In that case, consider VitaminFit's 1000 mcg B12 drops or capsules.
Where is vitamin B12 found?
Cobalamin is found almost exclusively in animal products such as meat, meat products, dairy products, fish and eggs.
Which natural form of B12?
VitaminFit's vitamin B12 capsules contain the biologically active forms methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin. The advantage of these forms of cobalamin over other forms, such as the synthetic form cyanocobalamin, is that when ingested, they provide the body with biologically active forms of vitamin B12 immediately.
These forms of vitamin B12 no longer need to be converted by the stomach and intestines. They can be absorbed directly by the body.
B12 combi Methylcobalamin and Adenosylcobalamin
A combination of two bioactive forms can be used when there is a greater need for energy, mental support (adenosylcobalamin) and fatigue in the body (methylcobalamin). This is a very good combination of the two forms of vitamin B12 in one supplement.
Plant extracts present
In addition to the two forms of B12, the capsule also contains a phyto matrix of three types of plant extracts that contribute to the immune system and have been known for centuries for their supportive properties.
Holy basil: also known as Holy Tulsi plant from India and is related to basil, hence the name holy basil. This sacred plant has been used in traditional medicine in India since ancient times. Tulsi protects against damage caused by oxidative stress* as an antioxidant and helps to maintain mental and physical balance in times of stress. It can support mood* and concentration*.
Ginger root: research has shown that the antioxidants and bioactive substances in ginger can have a positive effect on physical and mental support, the immune system and can contribute to increased vitality*.
Rosemary is also an antioxidant and protects the body against free radicals. Rosemary has been used for centuries for its many health benefits, including its ability to support memory and mood.

When is a high dose of B12 recommended?
Extra vitamin B12 is very important as a supplement for vegans, but it can also be important for older people. As we age, vitamin B12 is less easily absorbed by the body and a deficiency can develop. Some commonly prescribed medications, such as antacids, also limit the absorption of vitamin B12.
If necessary, your GP can test your blood if you have symptoms or think you may have a vitamin B12 deficiency. The first symptoms that may occur with a vitamin B12 deficiency include pale skin, feeling weak and tired, loss of appetite and light-headedness. But tingling in the fingers, a painful or burning tongue and weight loss can also be symptoms. Ask your doctor to check your vitamin B12 levels if you have any symptoms.
If the test shows that you have too little vitamin B12 in your blood, a higher dose of vitamin B12 may be necessary. A low-normal B12 level (148 to 250 pmol/l) may indicate a vitamin B12 deficiency.
If a higher dose is required, you can consider our Vitamin B12 1000 mcg, available in both capsule and drop form.
