Dosage and use
Daily dose for adults: 1 to 2 capsules
Intake: Preferably during a meal with water. Curcuminoids dissolve easily in fat, so it is advisable to take the capsule during a meal. When taken at a dose of 500 mg per day, turmeric contributes to supple joints.
Pepper is a pungent substance that can irritate the oesophagus, stomach and intestines in some people. Our capsules therefore contain a low dose of black pepper, but enough to increase absorption. Various studies have shown that turmeric together with black pepper is better absorbed by the body.
Contraindication: consult your doctor if you are taking medication for blood clots (blood thinners), medication, lactation, illness, pregnancy or breastfeeding.
What is Curcumin C3 Complex?
Curcumin C3 Complex is a patented extract of curcumin. The herbal compound is known for its wide range of health benefits. The Curcuminoids C3 present are the active ingredients from the curcuma longa root. There are several curcuminoids present in this turmeric plant, of which only three are active and bioactive. These are curcumin, demethoxycurcumin and bisdemethoxycurcumin, hence the name C3 complex.

What is the active ingredient in turmeric?

There are several types of turmeric plants, but only one has good medicinal properties that we have been using for thousands of years. This is Curcuma longa, a herb related to the ginger plant.
The active ingredient in turmeric (yellow root) is called curcumin. Curcumin is a polyphenol bioactive substance and, even in very small doses, can activate antibodies, contribute to the immune system and support the natural defence system.
