Vegan Omega 3 TG drops contain algae oil in the TG form (triglycerides), the purest and most natural form of omega-3. Unlike synthetic or etched forms, such as ethyl esters, TG algae oil is identical to the omega-3 that occurs naturally in food. This ensures better absorption and effectiveness in the body.
It is also important to note that it is not the amount of algae oil, but the amount of active ingredient (DHA and EPA) that determines how effective a supplement is, as some products contain a lot of oil but only a low concentration of these essential omega-3 fatty acids.

Dosage and use
Recommended daily dosage for adults: 24 drops per day.
Intake: pure on a spoon or mixed with food or drink. Preferably taken during a meal.
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has made specific recommendations for the intake of omega-3 fatty acids:
Adults: 250-500mg DHA/EPA total daily
Pregnant and breastfeeding women: at least 350-450mg DHA/EPA total daily.
TOTOX value VitaminFit Omega 3 Drops
The TOTOX value indicates the degree of oxidation in oils. Although this value may vary slightly after opening, the TOTOX value of our Omega 3 drops is exceptionally low at 7. By way of comparison, the European directive sets a maximum of 30, while the stricter standard of the Global Organisation for EPA & DHA is 26.
Fish-free?
No fish oil, but sustainable algae oil
Unlike traditional omega 3 products, we do not use fish oil. Fish obtain their omega 3 from algae and are then caught to extract the oil. We skip that step. Our choice: cold-pressed algae oil directly from natural, non-GMO algae (Schizochytrium sp.).
These algae are sustainably cultivated in a closed, controlled process within our own European production facilities. This allows us to guarantee quality without involving fish. What is omega-3 good for?
An adequate supply of omega-3 fatty acids, particularly EPA and DHA, is essential for optimal health. DHA plays a crucial role as a building block for the brain* and also supports vision*. EPA is known for its beneficial effects on heart health and heart function*. For optimal results, it is recommended to take 250 mg of DHA daily.
Where is omega-3 found?
Animal sources of omega-3: fish, shellfish and crustaceans (oily fish such as salmon, herring, mackerel and sardines). However, if you do not eat fish, you may develop a deficiency in omega-3 EPA and DHA.
Plant sources of omega-3: linseed oil, algae oil, chia seed oil or walnuts. Some margarines contain omega-3 fatty acids, but this is often with the addition of fish oil. Our plant-based omega-3 contains pure cold-pressed algae oil and is rich in DHA and EPA. This omega-3 is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
