The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) recommends a daily intake of 250 mg DHA + EPA (total) for children, without setting an acceptable upper limit. With 24 drops, your child will easily meet this recommendation, which is a safe and not excessive dosage.
Ingredients: DHA- and EPA-rich algae oil (Schizochytrium sp.), MCT oil (coconut), vitamin K2 (MK-7 from natto), vitamin E (D-alpha-tocopherol), beta-carotene (carotenoids from Dunaliella salina), vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol from algae, in MCT oil), grapefruit extract.
The algae oil is free from environmental pollutants and extracted from non-modified, pesticide-free Schizochytrium sp. algae.
Dosage and use
Recommended daily dosage for children: 24 drops per day.
Depending on age and diet, or whether fish is eaten, you can easily adjust the dosage to the number of drops. Children younger than 2 years of age can reduce the dosage to 17 drops.
How to administer to children?
The omega 3 + vitamin drops are liquid and easy to dose. They can be taken neat on a spoon or mixed with other foods and drinks, such as porridge or juice. Please note that they are fat-soluble, so do not mix them with water. Instead, add them to a juice containing fibre.
