Dosage and use
Net content: 39.9 g (60 capsules)
Recommended dosage: 2 capsules per day for adults, 1 capsule per day for children.
Intake: at any time of the day with a glass of water. Do not take with hot drinks (heat can kill the yeast).
- With antibiotics: Take S. boulardiiduring or just after the course of antibiotics, but not at the same time as the antibiotic pill itself. Allow at least 2-3 hours between both doses.
- When travelling: Start 5 days before departure and continue taking it during the trip.
What is Saccharomyces boulardii?
Saccharomyces boulardii is a probiotic yeast that occurs naturally in tropical fruits such as lychee and mangosteen. Unlike bacterial probiotics, this yeast is resistant to stomach acid and bile salts. This allows it to reach the intestines alive, where it can help maintain the balance of microorganisms.
