In her interview with VitaminFit, Nouska talks about her daily vitamin routine with the children:

"Taking supplements is something we have added to our daily routine, but it is also something we want to pass on to our children. Today's food does not always contain everything we need to stay healthy. Even when our children are older, I would like them to continue the habit of taking extra, natural supplements.

Our children (aged 5 and 3) really enjoy helping out in the kitchen. Because they didn't want some of the vitamin drops on a spoon, we usually add them to their breakfast, smoothie or sandwich. We drip them on or mix them in.

We deliberately do not add children's vitamins secretly. We do not “hide” them in their food and drink without them knowing. We consciously talk about it as if it is just something you add to make you healthy and strong. Our children do not mind and actually find it very interesting, because “it makes you big and strong”.

The liquid vitamins are easy to dose. We often count the drops together. The pipettes work well and are easy to use. Some drops dissolve easily in water, while others float on top. We therefore like to mix the oilier vitamins with peanut butter, porridge or smoothies. I have made a nice reel with even more tips for taking the vitamin drops.

Taking vitamins is therefore part of our daily routine. The children even regularly remind us that we haven't used them yet or that we've forgotten to put them in the smoothie.

The vitamins don't have a strong taste, but a very natural one. So no sickly sweet candy-like tablets, which make taking vitamins feel like eating sweets. My children love the vitamin C drops, but they're not so keen on the oilier drops. Of course, this varies greatly from child to child. I know many friends whose children are happy to eat them from a spoon, but we find it easier to mix them into everything.

Every morning, we eat a hot breakfast as much as possible. Oatmeal, rice porridge or yoghurt with honey and seeds. Then we drink a green smoothie with orange, mango, banana and spinach every morning. We often add a spoonful of Vitaminfit linseed and when everyone has filled their cup, we add the vitamins and stir it with a straw.

Our children are currently taking vitamin C and omega drops. I use vitamin B12 and C in my smoothie. I take the other supplements, such as magnesium, D and selenium-zinc, in tablet or capsule form. All vitamins are free of fillers and completely natural.
